KNOWLEDGE & RESEARCH INTERN – Private Equity Practice
What You’ll Do
You’ll support the private equity practice by plugging into data and administrative projects related to internal business development and knowledge management. You will help manage information about our current portfolio, and provide administrative support to develop and analyze data that drives client planning. For knowledge management, you will support a practice-wide project to organize and develop information on case and proposal experience. You will review pitch decks and help synthesize the work into overview descriptions and documents that are used by the private equity teams.

The person we’re looking for is enthusiastic about supporting and learning about our work and client experiences. This person will be eager to dig into detailed activities and to think critically, and is more than willing to help build out supporting information, processes and data. You are an analytical thinker and a quick learner, you have a service-oriented mentality. You are able to take on new tasks easily, and exited to learn how to use new tools and databases.
You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)The role will require a mix of qualitative and technical skill-sets, including:
- Proficiency in Excel
- Comfort using business information databases (e.g., Pitchbook, Capital IQ, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in the world of private equity
We are ideally looking for a candidate who is pursuing a college or master’s degree, and is available for at least 12 weeks on a part-time basis (starting this spring or summer).
